- Its not intended for frontal baldness but I used it anyway and in 2 months I have natural colered hairs where they should be! My natural hairline is full of small hairs. They are small and are just now starting to really grow but they are there. One of the reasons it works so well for me is because im young and everyone is different but I would definetley recommend this product.
- Inexpensive and safe product that works with a large number of users. Easy to recommend a 3 month trial.
- It has now been six months of regular daily use of Minoxidil. I suspect I have reached my threshold. I am no longer losing my hair, that is clear. However, I do not see any new growth since around three to four months. The circular pattern that predates the male pattern baldness on my vortex has disappeared and the ‘ring-like’ appearance has diffused into the rest of my hair. No doubt this is a big improvement over six months ago. There is also no new growth in the front near my temples as is stated on the product. However, I continued to use up the 6-month supply and made my final decision. I still think for the price and the results, this product is worth it.
- As a hairdresser for over 40 years, I will tell you that this product works! It is 5% of what you will pay for Rogaine and it is the exact same ingredient. Thanks to Kirkland for being a company with integrity and charging a fair price for a fair product. I tell all my clients about Kirkland Minoxidil.
- This product will definitely grows your hair back. My hair has been slowly thinning since my college days but Minoxidol changed that. After 1 month of use, I started to notice a small amount of extra long hair strands in the hair line. After 2-3 months of use, I had more hair that I started to notice the strands of gray which had blended into the scalp started to contrast against the new short mat. After 4-5 months, it take more time for me to dry my hair after a shower. There was just more hair to dry. After 6 months, the hair line has filled in nicely and the “chrome dome” was barely noticeable. After 9 month, the hair is back to the college days which allows me to sport a crew cut with no worries.

- This product causes my scalp itch to a degree that I never knew was humanly possible. Literally it’s like the itch demon fairy princess from hell came and was digging into your scalp with an “itch-wand” that has needles at its ends dabbed with poison.
- The Kirkland Minoxidil left my hair very greasy for up to a couple hours after each use, which was not pleasant not convenient, especially when using it before bedtime and waking up with a grease stained pillow. I only used it for a couple weeks before switching back to the brand name Rogaine, which may be more expensive, but to me the higher price was worth it in this case.
- Side effects include drowsiness, itching, dandruff and of course the initial shedding. I think I’ve already covered the dandruff and initial shedding. The drowsiness is pretty intense for the first two or three weeks and then comes and goes in spurts after that.
